The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development through its Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) has held a one-day workshop to sensitize key stakeholders on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) Safety and Security measures at workplaces. Key among the stakeholders were employers, the UPDF, Uganda Police and Trade Union Representatives.

The Workshop was officially opened by the Ministry Permanent Secretary, Mr. Pius Bigirimana.

The specific objectives were of the engagement were to;

         i.            Re-orient stakeholders on CBRNE Safety and Security measures at workplaces.

       ii.            Share the best practices and information sharing on CBRNE

      iii.            To receive feedback regarding the inspection that was carried by the Ministry
